IT'S fair to say that motor vehicle sales this year are speeding up as fast as on the Formula One circuit. During the first half of the year, sales had already reached 220,000 cars. Now manufacturers hope to set the highest record in history (see table). And bear in mind, that according to "tradition" in Indonesia, motor vehicle sales in the second half of the year are usually better than those in the first half.
