A total of five Bank Indonesia (BI) deputy governors have resigned. Yet at a midnight meeting held outside of the House of Representatives, it was decided the BI governor and senior deputy would have to be changed. The law regarding BI, therefore, will need to be amended. In the meantime, who will be responsible for monetary control in Indonesia?
