THE end of January will be the beginning. Bank managements must quickly submit their business plans to central bank Bank Indonesia (BI). Especially the 27 banks with less than Rp80 billion in capital. The first warning bell has been sounded.
If before December 31, 2007 their capital does not increase to above the threshold, they will no longer be operating as a public and foreign exchange bank.
