THE nightmare came true. Although for nearly three weeks Syafruddin Arsyad Temenggung fought the AGOs accusations tooth and nail, he could no longer avoid a jail cell.
Last Wednesday, the Jakarta Provincial Attorney Generals Office (AGO) arrested the former Chairman of the Indonesian Bank Restructuring Agency (IBRA). He is charged with causing losses to the state in the selling of PT Pabrik Gula Rajawali III, Gorontalo, at the end of 2003.
