DEMANDS to revise the Law on State Finance are becoming increasingly stronger; not only from bankers and market players, but also from the House of Representatives (DPR), Bank Indonesia, and the government itself.
The demands are varied. Starting from reducing state bank non-performing loans, decreasing the tasks and authorities of the Department of Finance considered to be excessive, to the governments plans to issue Syariah-based state bonds.
