ZTE, Huawei Win Flexi Tender

FOLLOWING several delays and some controversy, the tender to construct the Flexi telephone network for PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (Telkom) continued last week. Two telecommunications companies from China, ZTE and Huawei, won this tender, which is worth some Rp722 billion. Together, they both put in the lowest bid prices of US$7 per telephone line (SST).
