Several pieces of evidence indicate that the RGM Group owned by Sukanto Tanoto has already bought back several assets from IBRA. It is suspected that inside people were involved.

TWO emails appeared on the computer screens of several senior officials of the Raja Garuda Mas (RGM) Group, on October 3, 2003. One of the emails was sent by Benny Setiawan, head of treasury for the group of businesses owned by tycoon Sukanto Tanoto here in Indonesia. The other one originated from Eddy Lukas, Corporate Director of the Asian Agri Group, RGMs second largest holding company.
