Price Wars and Expansion

The Year 2000 provided a good harvest. At least that€™s what retail companies are shouting about. Sales by these modern peddlers were not bad; in fact, they were much better than previously estimated. Expansion was also on the up. New outlets were opened by almost all retail businesses, especially those that target the middle and lower classes. Not surprising, then, that retail space at malls and shopping centers is at a premium.
