IT is not really famous. But, who would have thought that Bank Tabungan Pensiunan Nasional (BTPN) with its headquarters in Bandung would have been fought over by many parties! Established in 1958 under the name of Retired Military Employees Bank (Bapemil), the bank reportedly would be taken over by Northstar Pacific owned by Patrick S. Walujo, the son-in-law of Theodore P. Rachmat, former CEO of PT Astra International.
