The government has issued a new policy package designed to help small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The package, announced by the Office of the Coordinating Minister for the Economy, on Tuesday last week, was contained in Presidential Instruction No. 6/2007 on Accelerated Development of the Real Sector and Empowerment of Micro, Small and Medium Businesses.
