APPROVAL by 80 percent of the participants of an extraordinary meeting of shareholders of Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) at the Shangri-La Hotel in Jakarta on Wednesday last week put Gatot Mudiantoro Suwondo to the position of chief executive officer of the state-owned bank.
