THE struggle between non-subsidized fuel business players is getting intense. It’s business market is shrinking because of increasing prices. In mid-March, for instance, Pertamina raised the prices of Pertamax to Rp8,100 and Pertamax Plus to Rp8,300 per liter. Pertamina’s rival, Shell, also increased the prices of Super and Super Extra respectively to Rp7,950 and Rp8,450 per liter.
