INFRASTRUCTURE World Bank Refuses Monorail Financing

THE fate of the monorail project is growing even less certain. Following the withdrawal of the Dubai Islamic Bank, it is now the turn of the World Bank to reject the project. It has refused an offer from the Jakarta Government (DKI) because it deemed it improper for the monorail to be managed by the private sector.
