FINANCE MINISTER
Awaiting New Economics Minister

MINISTER of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati is said will double as acting Coordinating Minister for the Economy. The position became vacant after Boediono was chosen as Governor of Bank Indonesia. A presidential decree to that effect has reportedly been signed by the President. Earlier, besides Sri Mulyani, Minister for Energy & Mineral Resources Purnomo Yusgiantoro was often cited as a candidate.
