HONESTLY, what more can Indonesian taxpayers be asked to sacrifice? The government has already spent a total of Rp647.5 trillion on trying to revive a banking sector that was black and blue. The taxpayers are also having to pay out for recapitalized bonds and liquidity injections. Every year now, the management of the state budget is being undermined by having to pay out interest on bonds that were issued to make the banking sector healthier. But...
