ACTIVITIES at the wide, white-walled building with a 2-meter high fence were almost non-stop. Trucks and workers were continuously carrying sugar to and from the UD Benteng Baru warehouse, with a capacity in excess of 80,000 tons, at Jalan Galangan Kapal No 1, Makassar, South Sulawesi.
