MOHAMMAD Saman had been yearning for a motorcycle for a long time. For years he'd been working as an ojek (motorcycle taxi) driver, still he had to rent from his neighbor for his income. The rental fee was Rp20,000 a day.

His dream finally came true at the end of last April. Taking Rp2.5 million from his savings, he took home a motorcycle. In less than two weeks, the latest Honda Revo was bringing him money. The monthly installments are Rp590,000.
