Bank Century could have sunk if Bank Indonesia failed to convince the government that the Savings & Loans Agency should take it over. The central bank’s supervision is, however, being questioned.

AROUND a hundred or so of Bank Century customers met in the Arya Wira Room on the first floor of the Atlet Century Hotel, Senayan, Jakarta, on Thursday afternoon last week.
