Sunset Policy Extended

THE deadline for the sunset policy program was extended from 30 December 2008 to 28 February 2009. The government regulation replacing the law on the issue was signed by President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono on Wednesday of last week. The facilities to abolish sanctions on private income for persons or entities were extended due to the jump in the number of people processing tax returns since the beginning of last month.
