A member of the Matahari board of directors has just resigned. Was this because Matahari is being 'forced' to buy LippoShop.com for an absurdly high price?

THERE would certainly be a public uproar if an uncle were to marry his niece. At the very least, lots of questions would be asked as to why the marriage had taken placed and if one of the parties had been forced into it. But this is more or less what seems to happen whenever the Lippo Group decides to raise money in its favorite way—through internal acquisitions.
