THE global gasoline market is behaving abnormally. The premium-grade gasoline price is unusually higher than diesel’s. Bloomberg notes that it went up from US$1.61 to US$1.96 per gallon last week. On the other hand, the diesel price went down 0.27 cents to US$1.24 per gallon (see graph).
