In JAKARTA the rainy season has just begun. Even the air feels fresher and cleaner. Nevertheless, the same cannot be said for trade relations between Indonesia and the US. Business relationships that had gone well and were mutually beneficial over decades have recently become somewhat disturbed. The cause is the eruption of various occurrences here after the September 11 tragedy that razed the twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York
