THE State Electricity Company (PLN) again posted losses this year. PLN's 2008 audited financial report put losses at Rp12.3 trillion, up from Rp5.64 trillion in 2007 and Rp1.92 trillion in 2006. About Rp9 trillion of the total were losses due to non-cash difference and rising company obligations from Rp111.5 trillion to Rp160.6 trillion.
