Several funding instruments were decided upon during the meeting of ASEAN Finance Ministers and the Asian Development Bank. The effectiveness of these is being questioned.

COQUETTISHLY, several staff members of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) invited Sri Mulyani Indrawati to have her photo taken. The polite rejections by the Minister of Finance were ineffective. Eventually, she resigned herself to her fate and had her portrait taken at the Media Center room, Bali International Convention Center, Monday last week.
