THERE was much laughter when the 40 members of the Finance & Banking Commission of the House of Representatives (DPR) examined Darmin Nasution as a candidate for the position of Senior Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia, on Monday last week. There was no tension whatsoever in the room. The atmosphere was really liquid. This made Darmin relaxed and calm in presenting his vision as a candidate to become the senior deputy governor of the central bank
