The central government almost settled negotiations over the divestment price of shares in Newmont Nusa Tenggara amounting to between US$3.5 billion and US$4.4 billion. The West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) regional government hopes that the central government will hand over all divestment proceeds to the region.
