COAL has again become a favorite. Since July this commodity has been an export booster. "Coal has helped our exports compared with 2008," said Chairman of the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) Rusman Heriawan in Jakarta on Tuesday last week. For the first seven months, the coal export value reached US$6.8 billion, up by 22 percent over the same period of 2008. According to Rusman, it was due to commodity price increase.
