BI RATE
No Change
AS expected, Bank Indonesia (BI) has once again maintained its reference interest rate (BI Rate) at a level of 6.5 percent. This decision was taken because the banking condition is stable. The decision is also good because the average national banking capital adequacy ratio (CAR) is 17 percent, and the non-performing loan (NPL) ratio is still below 5 percent.
