THE incident is still fresh in Johan Mak’s memory. Last year, a team of tax officials from the North Sumatra I Regional Directorate General of Taxation office arrived at a shop-house he rents on Jl. Arif Rahman Hakim in Medan. They were investigating the whereabouts of the company PT Putri Windusemesta. “I told them that I didn’t know and have never heard of the company’s name,” said Johan on Friday last week.
