The sun was not high yet when hundreds of people in black jackets and blazers packed Taipei World Trade Center, Taiwan. At around 9am, amid strong winds and a temperature of 18 degrees Celsius, some of them hurried to Taipei International Convention Center, separated by a road 10 meters wide.
