AFTER years of delay, the House of Representatives (DPR) and the government finally reached agreement on Tuesday last week on a Currency Bill that would allow the Finance Minister to also have his signature on Indonesian banknotes. The bill will be delivered to a plenary session of the DPR for passage by the legislature. “The decision is unanimous,” said Azhar Azis, deputy head of the DPR’s Finance Commission.
