New Toyota Assembly Plant

PT Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia is building a new car assembling and painting plant in Karawang, West Java to increase production from 100,000 to 140,000 cars a year by 2013. “The plant is being built with an investment of 16.5 billion yen (Rp1.7 trillion),” Toyota Motor CEO Masahiro Nonami said in Karawang on Wednesday last week.
