Employees of the state-run company Kertas Leces, who have kept their cool under extremely difficult times, deserve high praise. There has been no protests or picketing, even though after the the company restarted last June, their wages remain unpaid as of September. A number of meetings between the union and the management have yet to produce results. Employees plan to take action by way of the Industrial Relations Court in Surabaya, East Java.
