Around noon on Thursday last week, the Kanci-Pejagan toll road appeared deserted. Every half hour, only three or four cars passed along the Trans-Java toll road which connects the western to the eastern part of Java Island. Most of the traffic were privately-owned vehicles. In the three years the road has been in operation, high traffic volumes have only occurred during long holidays like Lebaran (end of the fasting month Idul Fitri celebrations
