Pertamina's management has readied a 1,000-hectare site near Lawe-lawe Beach on Balikpapan Bay in East Kalimantan to hold a number of crude oil storage tanks. "The North Penajam Paser Regency has already approved the environmental impact study," Pertamina UP 5 Balikpapan spokesperson, Abdul Malik, said in mid-February.
