Dozens of wooden poles painted in red and white mark plots of land along the shoreline at the edge of Kalen Kalong hamlet in Sumber Jaya village. Similar poles can be seen along both sides of the road some three kilometers from the coast on the way to ta fishing village in Tempuran district, Karawang regency, West Java.
