Property Developers Eyes Foreign Residents
BANK Indonesia (BI) last week issued Regulation No. 17/10/PBI on the loan-to-value (LTV) ratio for property and motor vehicles loans. Mortgage down payment (KPR), which was previously set at a minimum of 30 per cent, is lowered to 10-20 percent. In addition, the government now allows foreign nationals to purchase properties in Indonesia.
