The lunch at Hutchison House, 10 Harcourt Road, Hong Kong, on the fourth week of June, marked the final round of negotiations between Richard Joost Lino and Kin Ning Fok. The CEO of Pelindo II and the Managing Director of Hutchison Whampoa Limited concluded discussions with an about US$3 billionor equivalent to approximately Rp39 trillionstake. Also present at the meeting, among others, was the Finance Director of Pelindo II Orias Petrus Moedak.

"The meeting was to finalize contract amendments. We agreed that everything was fine," said Lino on July 8.
