New National Revenue Agency

THE Directorate-General of Taxation will become the National Revenue Agency and be put directly under the President. The agency, however, will continue to coordinate with the Finance Ministry. Discussions on the plan with the House of Representatives are expected to be completed in September next year. "In 2017, we will have changed," said Director General of Taxation Sigit Priadi Pramudito on Tuesday last week.
