MINISTER of Energy and Mineral Resources Sudirman Said smiled as he listened to South Sumatra Governor Alex Noerdin complain about the ongoing dispute between Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN) and Pertamina Gas (Pertagas), two state- owned gas companies.

Alex lamented that fierce competition was 'fragmenting' the development of gas networks in South Sumatra, delaying the construction of infrastructure.
