Syarkawi Rauf did not hesitate in signing the letter addressed to President Joko Widodo, asking for the dissolution of the Indonesia Palm Oil Pledge (IPOP).

"The letter was sent late last month," Syarkawi, chairman of the Business Competition Supervisory Commission, said last Tuesday. It was copied to several ministries, including the agriculture and the environment and forestry ministries.
