Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs Luhut Pandjaitan is exploring the possibility of opening up the capture fisheries industry to foreign investment. Marine Affairs and Fisheries Minister Susi Pudjiastuti has rejected the move, proposing the relocation of fishermen from the north coast of Java to Natuna in response.
