KPK looking into Maxpower bribery allegations

Maxpower Indonesia commissioner has acknowledged a bribery allegation.

Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), Agus Rahardjo, said he was studying the case of alleged bribery from the power generator company Maxpower Indonesia to Indonesian government officials. Agus claimed to have heard that Maxpower carried out an internal inspection. From the audit, dubious spending worth US$750,000 (Rp9.7 billion) was found, which was described as illegal expenditure.
