Pertamina's Twin Suns

Tuesday, January 31, 2017

Pertamina CEO Dwi Soetjipto attended last week's press conference alongside the company's board chairman Tanri Abeng, Deputy CEO Ahmad Bambang, Director of Processing Toharso, and Vice President of Corporate Communications Wianda Pusponegoro. According to the invitation sent to the media, only Ahmad Bambang, Toharso, and Tanri would be delivering a statement.

Dwi opened the conference on the mezzanine level at the Pertamina Center Building, Jakarta. He explained that within the past two months, a number of oil refineries had to be shut down as many as 10 times. The damage to these refineries could affect country's finances. Potential revenues are lost because the refineries are unable produce fuel oil.
