Alibaba Invests in Tokopedia

Daniel Zhang, CEO of Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba, said that the company was leading a US$1.1 billion (Rp14.7 trillion) investment round into Indonesia’s Tokopedia. Zhang made the announcement on Thursday. "Alibaba and Tokopedia have a shared mission of helping small and medium enterprises in achieving success in its business," said Zhang.
