Still Under Pressure After The Turmoil

The turmoil in the global financial markets seems to have abated. However, the pressure stubbornly remains in the Indonesian market. The global market is slowly crawling back to the point before the correction two weeks ago. In Indonesia, however, two important indicators are still in the negative: the rupiah exchange rate and the 10-year government bond yield that serves as the market's yardstick.
