Jakarta government decides to take over clean water management in the city. They have met with Salim Group, private operator for Jakarta water management.

Priyatno Bambang Hernowo has a heavy task to carry. Less than a year in office, the CEO of the Jakarta Drinking Water Company (PAM Jaya) has to fix the problems with Jakarta’s water management contract. The task must be completed immediately, as last week Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan announced his plan for the provincial government to take over the city’s clean water management from private companies.
