The Finance Minister is expected to make further changes at his ministry. After IBRA's chief, next up are the director generals, Bapepam chief, and some boards of directors and commissioners at SOEs. BI is reportedly a target as well.

What is Rizal Ramli's priority as Minister of Finance? Will he straighten out the wrong policies or put up a sign such as American President Harry Truman did saying 'the buck stops here'? Based on observations of the past two weeks, Rizal's priority seems to be to create a unified team. His experience as Coordinating Minister for the Economy seems to have made that a priority. It's obvious that he's not planning on wasting too much time to achieve it.
