PLTU Early Retirement’s Steep Path

PLN will soon launch a new model for its coal-fired power plants early retirement program. The program requires cheap funding to ensure that all power plants can be replaced with new and renewable energy generators by 2050.

THE new scheme to fast-track the closure of coal-fired steam power plants (PLTU) will be launched soon. State electricity company PLN will introduce the program during the G20 Summit in Bali on November 15-16.
