AFTER perusing them on social media and video-sharing platforms, the sleeper bus piqued Maya Nawangwulan’s interest. Despite having to fork out a sizable amount, she bought a bus trip from Malang, East Java, to Jakarta offering a coach equipped with reclining seats in September 2022. “I was curious if they were really that comfortable, or if it was all just digital hype,” she said on Wednesday, December 28, 2022.
